OUR PRINTING METHODS
We hope the below section helps you with your stationery journey. If there’s anything you’re unsure of don’t hesitate to contact us.
-
DIGITAL PRINTING
Digital printing is a great option for those who are looking for high-quality prints at an affordable cost.
*
Digital printing creates vibrant and crisp colours, making it ideal for any project.
-
WHITE INK
White ink printing follows the same method as digital printing.
*
This method is perfect for those looking to add a touch of sophistication without the cost of foiling or letterpress.
-
LETTERPRESS
Letterpress is a luxury printing finish that leaves a tactile impression on the paper made by a metal plate containing a darker ink tone.
*
Due to the nature of this product costs are significantly higher than digital or white ink printing.
-
DEBOSSING
Just like letterpress, debossing will also leave an impression on the paper but without the use of any ink.
We recommend debossing onto light coloured paper and only onto selective elements of the design (e.g. names, date or location)
*
This process adds that extra luxury touch.
-
BLIND EMBOSSING
Blind embossing is when the paper is pressed between two custom plates, causing the stock to raise without the use of any ink creating a soft and subtle finish.
*
We suggest opting for a paper shade that is moderately light, as this will enable the embossed shadows to help with readability.
-
HOT FOIL PRESS
Hot foil pressing is a process whereby metallic foil is applied to the surface of the card stock using heat and pressure.
*
There’s something unique about foil that spells glamour.
*
Due to the nature of this product, hot foiling is one of the most costly printing options.
-
DIGITAL GOLD/SILVER/METALLIC
Shimmery metallic dry toner applied directly onto the paper.
The results are gorgeous!
*
With a quicker turnaround, you can add a touch of luxury without the expense of traditional hot foil press.
-
EDGE FOILING
Edge foiling is an optional "add-on" for an extra splash of glamour.
*
The paper edges are sanded smooth and then foil is applied using heat and pressure.
-
DIE CUTTING
Die cutting is an optional "Add-On" to make your design POP even more.
*
Think circles, arches, or even intricate shapes like flowers or hearts.
